"***I’m editing my review as my initial bad experience over the phone was addressed promptly and with care. They even squeezed me in the next day to help take care of my unraveling retainer so that it was no longer poking me. Thank you Monica! I really felt that she cared and was disappointed that I did not have a good experience initially. I will not my previous experience stop me from coming back for my future permanent retainer needs. ***I’ve never experienced customer service as rude as the person that answered the phone when I called at 8:19 AM on Tuesday, July 28th.I had my braces done here many years ago, probably 20. Last night, my top permanent retainer messed up and has been stabbing me behind my front teeth.I panicked and set up an appointment online for Wednesday at Michigan City, but then noticed that the Laporte office is open on Tuesdays so I called as soon as they opened.The girl that answered the phone was so condescending and argued with me the entire time.First she kept going on about how the appointment I booked online was for a consultation, I told her that there was no place for a note or anything and it didn’t get me any options. It also said nothing about a consultation when I booked it. She talked to me like I was a complete idiot. I finally said can you help me with my retainer or not? Then she proceeded to talk about the price like she was trying to talk me out of it and then told me I could just get them removed. I told her I don’t want it removed I want it fixed. Then she said that she couldn’t get me in until next week. So I’m just supposed to be in pain until then? She recommended I try clipping it myself, are you serious? If it weren’t for your rude staff I would be more than glad to wait until next week but you will never get my business or any money from me again."

"We’ve gone every 6 months for the last couple of years to check if my kiddo is ready for braces and the office is very patient about waiting and making sure his teeth were ready. They didn’t try to push anything that wasn’t needed and there was no cost to be seen for those appointments for “check ins.” They are very detailed and transparent about payment options, plan of care and working with my son’s general dentist office for other procedures needed before braces."

"Fryar Orthodontist is the best. They took such great care of my daughter. She cracked her teeth and knocked off her brackets. I called and they had an appointment for me the same day, but went even further and called our dentist to see what would be the best for her. "Went above and beyond for us!My daughter had an orthodontic emergency Monday evening and I was unable to get her to her regular orthodontist. I called Dr. Fryar's office in hopes of having her seen, she was not a patient of Dr. Fryar and had never been seen in his office before, I was in a bit of a panic and his staff was patient with me and answered all my questions. Dr. Fryar was willing to stay after hours to see a patient that was not his! We arrived about 30 minutes after closing. He was thorough and explained to us what the options were and the best way to handle our situation. I will be transferring my daughters orthodontic care to Dr. Fryar!!"
